A 26-year-old man who was wanted in connection with a spate of burglaries has been arrested in Ipswich.
Billy Swaley-Smith, who has lived on the West Meadows Travellers’ site in Sproughton, was connected with burglaries in the Ipswich, Babergh and Suffolk Coastal areas.
He was also wanted on recall to prison having breached the terms of his licence following a conviction for burglary offences in Norfolk.
Swaley-Smith, of no fixed abode, was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle and is currently being held for questioning in custody at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
