POLICE and the fire service were called to an accident at just after midnight following reports of a car crash.

The accident happened in the west Suffolk village of Hawkedon.
Three fire crews from Clare, Wickhambrook and Bury St Edmunds attended.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said it was too early to tell how many vehicles were involved.
He said he did not know how serious the crash was - although he said it was not believed to be fatal.
