The cannabis factory, in Felixstowe Road, was discovered yesterday after members of the public contacted police to report suspicions that the house was being used to grow drugs.

Police spoke to the landlord and made a search of the property, seizing 307 cannabis plants and growing equipment.

Most of the rooms in the house were filled with plants at varying stages of development.
