Police were called to an Ipswich home following a report that a man had been self-harming.
Paramedics and officers were called to an address in Leopold Road at 9.05am today.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said that a man had been taken to hospital following reports that he had been self-harming.
Leopold Road was closed to traffic during the incident.
