Essex Police cordon off the area of Hythe Hill in Colchester
A man has been charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of a 70-year-old man in Hythe Hill, Colchester, on Tuesday.
Stuart Pain, an unemployed 40-year-old, of Sydney Street, Brightlingsea, has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
