Police confirm body found in woodland is missing Chris May

Essex Police have confirmed that a body found earlier this year is that of Chris May from Kelvedon.

A formal identification has now been carried out on the body which was found in woodland in Faulkbourne in May this year.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “We are now able to confirm the body is Chris May, 28, from Kelvedon, who went missing in May 2015.

“Detectives are continuing to establish his final movements in preparation for an inquest being held in October later this year.”

Anyone with any information regarding Chris’s death is asked to contact the North Major Investigation Team on 101.
