POLICE are searching for a biker with Suffolk connections in relation to alleged motoring offences.

Kevin Snoad was arrested in May last year at a petrol station in Sible Hedingham after allegedly failing to stop for police on the A131 near Braintree.

Officers from Essex police's air support unit helped road policing officers stop the 35-year-old whose last address was in Haverhill. He was subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries, but has failed to return and keep his appointment.

Investigating officer Pc Simon French, said: "He was due to see me last summer. My colleagues and I have endeavoured to locate him, but he is giving us the run-around. He was last in Haverhill, but could have moved to another part of Suffolk. As a result, we're hoping residents and motorists who know where he is will contact us."

Kevin Snoad is described as white, approximately 5ft 9in tall and of slim build. He has a short, cropped beard and a greasy ponytail. He has a surgical scar on his left arm and another on his right wrist.

Anybody with information on Kevin Snoad's whereabouts is urged to contact Essex police on 0300 3334444.
