POLICE are hunting for a rapist who struck in the early hours of this morning in the precincts of a cathedral.
A woman walked into Chelmsford Police Station this morning to report that she had been raped at around 2am.
The 31-year-old woman from Witham had been at Dukes Genesis nightclub on Duke Street before she was attacked by a man on Cathedral Walk just a short distance away.
Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at Chelmsford police station on 0300 333 4444.
