Police have released CCTV of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the attempted robbery of woman outside the University of Essex in Colchester.
According to Essex Police, the victim, a woman in her 20s, was walking outside the campus at around 1.30am on Friday, November 30, when a man grabbed her arm and attempted to take her purse and phone.
The suspect was described as 5ft 8ins tall, of an average build, aged between 25 and 30 with ginger hair and an untidy beard.
Anyone with information is asked to call Colchester police station on 101 quoting crime reference 42/175106/18 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
