POLICE responded to reports of bodies lying by a major road today - and found scarecrows.
Motorists called officers to report two or three bodies next to the A47 at Dereham in Norfolk.
But when they arrived at the scene police found scarecrows by the road.
A spokesman said that the incident was being treated as “nuisance behaviour”, but it was not clear where the dummies had come from as there have been no reports of any being stolen or going missing.
