Police were today investigating the deaths of two teenage girls who are believed have fallen 11 floors from a window in a block of flats.The girls, thought to be 17 or 18-years-old, fell about 120ft from a window in the stairwell of Cecil Court in Jones Close, Southend, Essex Police believe.

The girls, thought to be 17 or 18-years-old, fell about 120ft from a window in the stairwell of Cecil Court in Jones Close, Southend, Essex Police believe.
Officers called to the scene at around 3.30am found one girl dead. The other was taken to nearby Southend General Hospital where she died of her injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: "At this stage we are not treating the deaths as suspicious."
Post mortem tests were expected to be carried out later today. The girls have not been formally identified.
