AN investigation has been launched after the discovery of a man's body at a caravan park in Little Clacton.
Police are treating the death of the man, believed to be aged in his fifties, as suspicious and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out later today.
Emergency services were called to the Firs caravan park in London Road at about 10.15am on Saturday. The body of the man, who has not yet been identified, was found inside a caravan.
A 35-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been arrested in connection with the death and is currently in police custody.
The death is being investigated by the Stanway Major Investigation Team, and anyone with information is asked to contact them on 0300 333 4444.
