The death of a man who was found inside a property in Maldon is being treated as unexplained, according to police.

The man, aged in his 40s, was found with serious injuries shortly after 7pm on Saturday, September 30, at an address in Mount Pleasant.

He was declared dead at the scene by ambulance staff.

Essex Police says investigations are being conducted to establish what happened and the death is being treated as unexplained.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
