Police are investigating a burglary and an attempted burglary in Newmarket.
The burglary took place in Elizabeth Avenue, sometime between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Thursday, December 18. A burgler stole cash, jewellery and a laptop from a house after making an untidy search.
The attempted burglary happened in George Lambton Avenue, also on December 18, between 9am and 6pm. An attempt to gain access to a house by an offender, but was unsuccessful.
