Police believe a set of keys stolen in a robbery in Lynford in Norfolk were used later the same day to commit a burglary in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

The burglary happened on Thursday, July 12, between 9.10am and 12.20pm at a property in Eyre Close.

The female victim, aged in her 30s, returned home to find jewellery, a toaster, a kettle and scuba diving gear had been stolen and the back door of the house had been left unlocked.

On the same day, the same victim was walking near the Lynford Hotel between 9.10am and 9.30am when a man pushed past her and took her handbag, containing house jets and cash.

Police believe the keys from this robbery were used to commit the burglary later in the day.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 8 ins, of a very slim build, with a big nose, blotchy cheeks and acne.

He was wearing baggy navy tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe running down the legs and a dark blue zip up hoodie with its hood up.
