Three men have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a jewellery shop in Woodbridge last month.

Police were called at around 4.30pm on November 12 by a member of the public saying Ashleigh Jewellers in Hamblin Walk was being robbed.

Since then enquiries have been taking place and today detectives arrested three people.

The men, a 25-year-old from Leiston, an 18-year-old from the Saxmundham area and a 25-year-old from Ipswich were all arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They are being held in custody at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
