POLICE have this afternoon named a motorcyclist who was killed in an accident in Great Clacton.
Peter Hammond, 60, from the Clacton area died at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, east London.
The accident happened yesterday at around 11.55am at the junction of Holland Road and Thorpe Road.
Mr Hammond’s motorcycle and a car collided causing him to sustain fatal injuries.
A spokesman for Essex police said officers are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses to the collision to come forward.
