Police have renewed their appeal for information following an incident in Haverhill yesterday when a man was arrested.

Officers received reports of a man behaving suspiciously near a black car in the garages area of Cambridge Close sometime between 8.15am and 8.45am.

Officers attended and a man arrested in connection with the incident was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He currently remains in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Police have not released any further details regarding the incident at this time.

Witnesses who may have seen anything or anybody acting suspiciously in the area at the time are asked to contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting reference 37/4375/19.
