Police have released a CCTV image of three people they would like to identify in connection with a distraction theft in Chelmsford.

A 75-year-old woman from Chelmsford was shopping at Marks & Spencer at around 11am on November 4 last year, when three people distracted her.

She later discovered that a four-figure sumon of cash had been taken from her handbag.

Anyone who recognises any of the two women and one man in the image should contact Pc Chris Booth at Chelmsford police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
