Purdis Farm: The family of a missing woman are appealing for any information that may help them find her.

Suffolk police have been searching for Claire Ballard since midday and have asked anyone who may have seen her to contact them.

Alternatively her family have asked she get in touch to confirm she is safe.

The 35-year-old is described as white, approxmately 5ft 9ins to 5ft 10ins tall, of large build with shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes.

She is thought to be wearing a woolly cream beret and either a purple anorak or a brown coat with pink sleeves.
