A man is being searched for by police in connection with a burglary in Felixstowe.

The incident happened between 9.30am and 9.45am on July 8 when a women returned to her home in Marcus Road and saw a man standing near the fence bordering her property.

She asked him what he was doing but he pushed her away and walked off. She sustained cuts to her thumb and went inside to find the home had been broken into.

The man is described as “rough-looking”, white, aged in his 40s to 50s, of stocky build and taller than 5ft 6ins. He was wearing glasses, a dark jacket, dark trousers and a dark coloured baseball cap.
