Essex police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a road traffic collision in Braintree this afternoon, after they disappeared from the scene.
The incident happened at around 2pm in Notley Road when a blue Ford Focus was involved in a collision with two other vehicles, believed to be a silver Audi A3 and a blue VW Golf.
The driver of the Focus, which is thought to have been stolen, then ran away from the scene with police still searching for them.
A police spokesperson confirmed there were no serious injuries, although one of the cars had children in them who were left badly shaken but otherwise unharmed.
Paramedics were at the scene checking over the individuals involved.
Anyone with information regarding the stolen car or missing driver should contact Essex police on 101.
