Essex Police are looking to identify a cyclist who died last week in Great Oakley after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Officers were called to Stones Green Road just before 9.40am on September 19, to reports that a cyclist had suffered a cardiac arrest and had died.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Over the course of our enquiries we have been unable to identify the man.”
He is described as being aged in his 70s and is around 5ft 5ins tall.
He has two tattoos, one on each forearm, and has short, white blond hair.
He wore Tommy Hilfiger glasses and was riding this distinctive pink and silver Carrera racing bike with white-tipped handlebars.
Anyone with information about this man’s identity is asked to call Essex Police on 101 quoting incident number 355 of 19/09.
