Police are issuing a follow-up appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following an assault earlier this month.
A man in his 30s was attacked at about 8.30pm on Friday, June 2, in The Severals – a park in Newmarket.
He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries, including a fractured skull and arm, cuts and bruising.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, interviewed and released under investigation on Saturday, June 3.
Police are asking in the green area bordered by Bury Road and Fordham Road, at the funfair, or the BP petrol station in Bury Road, between 8pm and 8.30pm on June 2, to get in touch.
They also want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage, who may have been driving in or close to the areas at the time.
Anyone with any information should contact DC Gavin Hughes at Suffolk police western area CID on 101.
