Police have asked for the public’s help in finding a classic car stolen from the Sainsburys car park in Braintree.

A black Volkswagen Karmann, which is around 50-years-old, was stolen between 6.15pm and 7pm on January 13, when it was parked in the Tofts Walk store’s car park.

The owner, from the Braintree area, has fully restored the car and it is in perfect condition.

The registration number of the car is CAU 85H.

Anyone with information about the car’s whereabouts or who may have taken in is asked to contact police in Braintree on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
