A writer whose father helped make Doctor Who one of the most iconic television characters to date will be marking the 50th anniversary of the series with a visit to Beccles Library.
Patrick Troughton portrayed the second Timelord between 1966 and 1969.
His son, Michael, has written a biography about his late father’s years at the helm and will recall stories of his experiences at the library in Blyburgate on Monday from 6pm.
Mr Troughton, a former physics teacher at Sir John Leman High School, in Beccles, will also be signing copies of Patrick Troughton, The Biography of the Second Doctor Who.
Tickets cost £1, available from the library and Kulture Shock, also on Blyburgate.
