The East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) Colour Dash took place at Nowton Park on Sunday, with participants being showered in coloured powder as they took on the 5km course.

Organisers say the event will end up raising more than £6,000 for the children’s hospice.

Natasha Brame, community fundraiser, said: “Everyone had a fantastic day at the colour dash, we had 450 runners take part and it was a colour filled, fun day.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part, our amazing volunteers and our wonderful performers, Roma as well as the Hotshots Twirling and Display Team. We couldn’t do it without them.

“We still have money coming in but we will have raised over £6,000 which will make a huge difference to local life-threatened children, young people and their families.”
