A TEENAGER who was allegedly killed in an unprovoked attack in a seaside town in Essex died from head injuries, a post mortem examination has revealed

Dominic Barritt, 18, died in Queen's Hospital in Romford on Monday with his family at his bedside after being punched in the face in High Street, Walton on the Naze, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

This morning police said a post mortem examination carried out last night had found the cause of death to be head injuries.

Officers were today continuing to question a 22-year-old man from east London in connection with the death.

Dominic, who lived with his grandparents in Little Clacton, was a trainee builder described by the grieving couple as a “gentle giant.”
