A Porsche was left “badly damaged” after crashing into a telegraph pole in a Suffolk village today, police said.
The Porsche 911 Carrera required recovery after the single-vehicle collision on the A1120 in Pettaugh at around 11.20am.
The telegraph pole was left “dangling over the road”, prompting officers to close the road, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
BT engineers were called to the scene before the road re-opened shortly after 2.20pm.
A BT spokesman said he will later provide details of the incident.
The driver of the Porsche, a man whose details were not released, was not injured, police said.
