Police attended an accident outside Hintlesham Hall which damaged a cable and caused an obstruction in the road.

A spokesperson for Suffolk police said they were called to the incident just after 6pm.

There were no injuries at the scene and UK Power Networks were initially called.

The incident was then passed over to BT Openreach, and engineers from the company arrived around 12.50am.

The car involved has been recovered.
