THE Princess Royal has touched down on Suffolk soil for a whistle-stop visit to speak at a riding charity event.
The Riding for the Disabled Association yesterday is holding its eastern region conference at the Bedford Lodge Hotel in Newmarket.
HRH The Princess Royal arrived at the Animal Health Trust in Kentford by helicopteer before being driven to the hotel where she met local dignitaries and leading association figures.
During her three-hour visit Princess Anne will be delivering an address to those gathered, presenting certificates and awards, eat lunch and receive a posy from disabled rider Lucy Kelly.
Shortly before 2pm, Princess Anne is expected to depart the county via the Animal Health Trust by helicopter.
