AN investigation is underway after a fire broke out in a paper bank at a Suffolk school this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to put out the blaze at Deben High School in Felixstowe at 3.30pm.
Flames were seen emanating from a paper recycle bin of approximately two metres by two metres, with a crew from Felixstowe using a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said: “This was a fire of a suspicious nature.”
Fire investigators will now produce a report into the incident, to determine how it was started.
