An investigation is being held into the cause of a beach hut fire in Walton on the Naze.
The incident happened on the seafront at about 9am today.
Two fire crews from Frinton were sent to the scene and they used one hose reel to extinguish the blaze by 9.20am.
A spokesman for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: “ECFRS will carry out an investigation to establish the cause of the fire.”
