FIREFIGHTERS were this evening called to tackle a blaze which started in the kitchen of a pub in Sudbury.
Two crews from the town were called at around 8.30pm to the Grover & Allen pub, run by the Wetherspoon chain, in North Street.
They used breathing apparatus to help fight the flames which were under control by 9.30pm.
Meanwhile, firefighters in Haverhill attended a 25 metre hedgerow alight behind the Ford garage in Ehringshausen Way shortly before 9pm. The fire was extinguish by 9.15pm
