A PUB landlord this morning denied murdering his 29-year-old partner whose body was found in a freezer.
Michael Tucker, 49, landlord of The Compasses Inn in Snettisham, Norfolk, is charged with killing landlady Rebecca Thorpe.
Tucker was arrested after Miss Thorpe’s body was found in a freezer in an outbuilding at the pub in March.
A post-mortem examination found she died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Tucker entered a not guilty plea during the hearing at Norwich Crown Court. His trial is due to begin on December 6.
