A TEENAGER was airlifted to hospital after suffering a convulsion at a Suffolk school.
The 13-year-old girl was taken ill at Hartismere High School yesterday and the East Anglian air ambulance was launched.
Paramedics left their base in Norwich at 3.14pm and arrived at the school in Castleton Way, Eye, within 15 minutes.
The pupil was monitored before being flown to Ipswich Hospital in a “stable” condition.
A spokeswoman for the school said this morning that an update on the teenager’s condition was not currently known.
