Radio controlled cars and pressure washer stolen during burglary in Wortham

A home in Church Road, Wortham was burgled around 8.30pm on Tuesday.

Someone at the property heard a noise and went to investigate, finding two men wearing balaclavas who had broken into an outbuilding.

The men left in a silver Vauxhall Vectra with a stolen Ifor Williams trailer attached. This was carrying a stolen child’s motor cross bike and pressure washer, later found abandoned near the A143.

Plant equipment, power tools and a number of radio-controlled cars were also stolen and have not been recovered

They were a VW Beetle, monster truck, army Jeep, Ford Focus and Ford Mustang.
