A woman working at the shop, who did not wish to be named, said the masked raider had confronted the manager who was left “shaken” by the incident. “The door wasn't locked because people are coming in anyway with deliveries”, she said.

The robber is described as black, 6ft tall, and was wearing a black coat and jeans.

No weapons were used in the raid and no-one was hurt.
