RAIL commuters faced delays in and around Ipswich today due to signalling problems.
Mainline services between Norwich and London were held up by around 15 minutes this afternoon while the problem was resolved.
A spokesman for Network Rail said rush hour services would not be affected.
There were minor delays earlier after a car collided with a railway bridge in Manningtree, in Essex.
Trains slowed as they crossed the bridge following the crash at 2.40pm until an engineer assessed the structure half-an-hour later.
