COMMUTERS faced delays to mainline services in the Marks Tey area this evening after a trespasser was apprehended on the line.
Disruptions began at about 6pm and continued for half an hour while staff ensured the line was safe and clear.
Trains were delayed on average about 10 minutes but normal service has now resumed.
A spokesman for National Express East Anglia confirmed that one person had been apprehended in connection with the incident.
