POLICE are hunting a trio of ram-raiders who mounted a smash and grab attack on a convenience store in the early hours of this morning.
POLICE are hunting a trio of ram-raiders who mounted a smash and grab attack on a convenience store in the early hours of this morning.
The three men drove a convertible Ford Escort into the side of a storage building beside the Spar shop in Gloucester Road, Haverhill, at 12.45am.
Shop supplies were stolen from the building and police later found car, fitting the description of the one used in the raid, burnt out at Haverhill Rugby Club.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the burglary take place or saw anything suspicious in the area of the rugby club early this morning. Any witnesses should call Suffolk Police on 01473 613 500.
