A 50-year-old man from Ipswich was this morning arrested on suspicion of two rapes that happened in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
A 50-year-old man from Ipswich was this morning arrested on suspicion of two rapes that happened in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
The arrest, at 4.55am, follows investigations into the rape of a 17-year-old female in January 1990 in Gippeswyk Park, Ipswich and the rape of a 41-year-old female in September 1986 in the Stoke Park area of the town.
The man is currently in custody at Ipswich police station awaiting questioning.
