FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze involving an abandoned caravan at the side of the road.
The caravan had been left the junction of Rattlesden Road with Felsham Road, near the village of Rattlesden.
The fire was reported at 9.51pm and crews arrived at the scene within minutes. The caravan was completely alight and firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the flames. A spokesman for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze is believed to have been started deliberately.
Crews had returned to their stations by 10.53pm.
