NEW average speed cameras are set to be introduced along a stretch of the A14.
A 17-mile section in Cambridgeshire from the Spittals interchange near Huntingdon to Girton – junction 23 to junction 31 - is already covered by the cameras.
And now police have said a further six miles of road will be covered by the safety cameras all the way to Fen Ditton.
Inspector Clinton Hale, manager of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Road Safety Camera Unit, hailed the cameras a massive success in slashing the number of motorists flouting the law.
