A MAN was airlifted to hospital this morning after he suffered a heart attack in Rendham, Suffolk.
Dr Antonio Bellini, Dr Peter Temesvari and Critical Care Paramedic Ben Caine were flown to the scene by Captain Steve Norris aboard Anglia One.
Helen Dodman, spokeswoman for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, said: “Credit must be given to the Community First Responder who attended the scene. She did a great job and could well have saved this man’s life.”
The medical team worked closely with the Community First Responder and the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust to treat the man before he was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
The man’s condition is said to be life threatening.
