A RESCUE operation was launched after a yacht was reported to have run aground off the coast of Felixstowe.At 5.05pm yesterdayThames Coastguard launched Harwich RNLI inshore lifeboat to help the yacht, Genevieve, which had two people on board, but it had managed to float free before the crew arrived.
A RESCUE operation was launched after a yacht was reported to have run aground off the coast of Felixstowe.
At 5.05pm on Friday, Thames Coastguard launched Harwich RNLI inshore lifeboat to help the yacht, Genevieve, which had two people on board, but it had managed to float free before the crew arrived.
The lifeboat then escorted the yacht back to Shotley marina.
