A blaze at a builder’s shed in Bury St Edmunds was extinguished by fire crews in the early hours of this morning after numerous concerned nearby residents alerted the emergency services.
The shed, on the grounds of a domestic property in Northgate Avenue, was said to be “well alight” when crews arrived soon after 2am.
Crews used two hose reel jets to tackle the flames, and the fire had been extinguished by 2.20am.
