Reydon: Girl, 11, reports being assaulted by three boys

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old girl reported being assaulted by three boys in Reydon.

They are asking anyone who may have been near the children’s play area at Winston Road, in Reydon during the afternoon or early evening on Sunday, June 17 to come forward.

Officers are trying to determine exactly what occurred. They believe a girl who was with the alleged victim called out a comment to the three boys who were walking past. Two of the boys are thought to be aged around 14 and the other slightly older.

It appears the 11-year-old may have then been approached by the youths and assaulted, sustaining bruising to her legs, and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area who may have seen the boys or any incident.

If you can help please call Pc 1056 Sadler at Southwold police on 101.
