AN Ipswich road has been cordoned off today after a section of the pavement and carriageway subsided.
Engineers are currently in Sidegate Lane after a hole appeared outside Sidegate Primary School.
The borough council said it was unclear as to what was responsible for the subsidence.
A spokesman urged drivers and pedestrians to avoid the area where possible.
