GAS works have closed an Ipswich road today.
Lower Brook Street has been shut by the National Grid while work to connect a domestic customer's gas supply is carried out.
National Grid said the road needed to be closed because the main gas supply was in the middle of the road, and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
It said it was scheduled to complete the work on Wednesday, but hoped to have it finished tomorrow.
